Beginners
This level is suitable for people who are relatively new to group fitness classes and in average physical condition. Expect basic choreography and moderate intensity.

Intermediate/Advanced
This level is suitable for those with a background in any sport or who are experienced with group fitness classes. Expect a focus on coordination and control of your body, more complex choreography and faster tempo of music.

All Levels
This is suitable for all fitness levels. No skills are required - variations in moves are offered allowing you to work according to your own fitness level.

Class Descriptions

ABS, BUTTS & THIGHS
All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone your lower body. Some classes use bands, tubes, weights or bars but equipment is always optional –every exercise can be done with or without. This class is also suitable for men.


AERO MAD!
AERO MAD! Exclusive to Pure: Aero MAD – Maximum Attitude Dance! A continuous fusion of cutting edge hi/lo aerobics and dance that is full of energy, power, great music and lots of rhythm. An exhilarating and challenging workout!


AERO MAD! (Level 1)
AERO MAD! Exclusive to Pure: Aero MAD – Maximum Attitude Dance! A continuous fusion of cutting edge hi/lo aerobics and dance that is full of energy, power, great music and lots of rhythm but set at a lower level especially for beginners or those returning to exercise after a break! This class is suitable for men.


BALL BLAST COMBO
Hip/thigh toning exercises and Pilates core control exercises using a stability ball and other equipment. All levels of fitness welcome.


BELLY DANCE
The Movement! The Music! The Experience! The Workout!Move like never before to hypnotic Middle Eastern sounds.Suitable for everyone, come along and learn how to Belly Dance with easy-to-follow movements and choreography that is developed step-by-step to create a fun & exciting routine that gets your heart pumping and your torso curving.


BODYATTACK™
All levels. Talk about getting fit! BODYATTACK™ is a fast track to your personal peak condition. High powered music fires up a full-on workout, with contrasting styles and tempos adding novelty and variety to one of the best-loved programmes on the planet. Plenty of easy-to-follow options allows you the freedom to adjust your workout intensity, staying low in the moves for a lower impact class or going higher for the full cardio blast.


BODYBALANCE™
All Levels. BODYBALANCE™ combines the fundamental principles of yoga, Pilates and tai chi for a great holistic workout set to inspirational music. BodyBalance improves flexibility, joint mobility and balance for a leaner, stronger body!


BODYCOMBAT™
All Levels. BODYCOMBAT™ is a fiercely energetic program inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. You strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. There is no one-to-one contact or sparring and no equipment is necessary.


BODYJAM™
All levels. BODYJAM™ is on the move and so will you be when you teach or join our latest class - a new format delivers a great, "doable" class with a cool, modern feel and a huge double dose of exercise and fun. Jammers will master the moves in double-quick time and then bust out in a crazy orgy of attitude and style.


BODYPUMP™
All levels. Using barbell and weights, BODYPUMP™ is an awesome resistance training workout that improves strength whilst toning and shaping your muscles. The workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. You can adjust your own weights for a personalised workout.


BODYSTEP™
All levels. BODYSTEP™ is the ultimate butt and thigh workout designed by the worlds leading choreographers. It\'s fat-burning with a difference! BODYSTEP caters to the beginner through to the athlete using adjustable steps to tailor your workout.


BOOT CAMP
All levels. Military exercise training comprised of circuit training with drills that include jumping jacks, push-ups, squats, lunges and complete core training. Popular the world over to both results-driven people and those with busy schedules who need to pack a hard workout into a short time. You will never get bored as the workout changes every day but the intensity stays the same. Build lean muscle tone while using the aerobic elements to improve your physical conditioning. This is the total body workout like no other!


BOSU Blast
All Levels. Our 25 minutes BOSU Blast class helps establish and reinforce balance, stability, and core strength and can include aerobic and strength training routines, flexibility exercises, and balance training.


BOXING CIRCUIT
A boxing-style workout that includes impact work. Circuit-style training alternating between pad work, shadow boxing and technique drills that may also incorporate kicks. Wraps and boxing gloves are required for this class. Open to all levels.


BOXING CONDITIONING
A boxing-style workout that includes impact work. Circuit-style training alternating between pad work, shadow boxing and technique drills that may also incorporate kicks. Wraps and boxing gloves are required for this class. Open to all levels. Class is limited to 12 participants.


BURLESQUE
Master the art of seduction with sexy dance moves from the 1920s, 1940s and 1960s. Take on the persona of a line dancer at KitKatClub in Paris and shine in the spotlight as you learn the choreography from all the hit musicals on Broadway – Chicago, Burlesque and more. Heels and sexy attire optional. Sultry attitude an asset!


CARDIO PILATES
This class uses props like weights and gliders to get the heart rate up. They also make for more exciting Pilates moves that help with strength, stabilisation and blasting those abs. Appropriate shoes must be worn for this class.


Core Training
A class designed specifically to work on the core and abdominal area, incorporating various exercises and equipment. The “core” consists of many different muscles running the entire length of the torso that stabilize the pelvis and spine. These muscles provide a solid foundation, helping to control movement and transfer energy. Core-conditioning exercises target all these muscle groups for an effective workout. A strong core distributes the stresses of weight bearing in the body and protects the back.


CYCLE
A cardiovascular workout on a stationary bike where the classes are freestyle. All classes are 45 minutes unless specified. The routines are designed to emulate terrain and situations encountered in actual bicycle rides such as hill climbs, sprints and interval work. The instructor plays their own music and riders can synchronise their pedalling to keep the beat.


DANCE AEROBICS
A perfect mix of traditional Hi/Lo moves combined with the latest dance moves and all set to the sound of pumping club music! A great cardio workout for all levels that will have you performing to the latest tunes whilst taking your fitness to new levels.


DANCE FITNESS
All Levels Dance your way to total body fitness with fun, high-energy dance combinations that include Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, African and much more! The class starts with a non-stop cardio section and is followed by dance exercises that are designed to tone and strengthen your abdominals, legs and arms.


DISCO AEROBICS
A "blast from the past" aerobics class full of "Saturday Night Fever" flavour and all kinds of retro music from the 70s onwards. This funky-town class is a great workout for all fitness levels – and a fine tribute to the fancy moves and rhythms of those dearly-departed-but-never-forgotten disco days!


FIT 360
F.I.T. 360 (Functional Integrated Training) is an energetic interval/circuit group fitness class. Combining four stations of functional conditioning exercises with powerful cardio sessions to provide a workout that improves your overall fitness in record time, allowing you to train at your own pace to be the best YOU can be.


HIP HOP
You’ve seen the clips from Usher, Janet and Missy – get the same funky moves fast and furious with full-on dance sequences that will make you feel like the hottest booty mamma or dancer Papi out there!

JAZZ
All Levels. Be it Jazz, Jazz Funk, Jazz Lyrical or Modern Jazz, each class will have you moving to amazing chorography like you’d see in a Broadway Musical or replicating the sexy moves in today’s hottest music videos.


JAZZ FUNK
Love Britney and can’t get enough of Beyonce? This is the class to shake your booty like these sassy divas. Learn slick, sexy choreography just like in the videos with the hottest bootylicious moves to make you feel like a back-up dancer for the sultry sirens on stage.


Kick Boxing
Shadow-box your way to fitness with this high intensity workout. This total-body drill includes kicking and elements of Muay Thai. This is a non-contact class and no additional equipment is required. The instructor will often incorporate a sequence of add-on moves to combine punches and kicks that are timed to music. Open to all levels.


KICK BOXING SGT $
Small Group Training offers a high level of instruction, more personalised attention and builds on a structured program to improve skill and fitness. Class size is limited to 6 people maximum and advanced session purchase is required. Shadow-box your way to fitness with this high intensity workout. This total-body drill includes kicking and elements of Muay Thai. This is a non-contact class and no additional equipment is required. LATINO JAM
A class consisting of short introductions to the basics of many latin dances including salsa, cha cha cha, rumba, merengue, lambada, samba, bachata. The pace is continous to keep the heart pumping and give you an all over body workout while at the same time enjoy the rhythms of hot latin music.

All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone your lower body. MILLIONSTYLES METHOD BOXING DEMONSTRATION
The latest training system of boxing, widely used by many world champions such as : James Toney, Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather Jr. This training system often utilizes the 'shoulder roll'. The shoulder roll is an old-school boxing technique in which the right hand is held normally or slightly higher than normal, the left hand is down around the midsection, and the lead shoulder is raised high on the cheek in order to cover the chin and block punches. The right hand (from orthodox stance) is used as it normally would be to block punches coming from the other side, such as left hooks. From this stance, blocks, slips, and deflects most of opponents' punches, even when cornered, by twisting left and right to the rhythm of their punches. We break the drills then link them up to be non-stop training. The mission is simple: Train Every Style. Give a fighter every option and their natural style and creativity will blossom on its own!


MODERN DANCE
Ever thought it would be possible to feel relaxed after a dance class? Modern dance has just that effect – it is the movement of breath, expression, exploration and release. This class is for those who are willing to dive into an improvisational journey with an open mind and an open heart, as we will explore valuable concepts of dance such as: postural alignment and different qualities of movement through space, weight and time. Modern dance works with natural movement and breath allowing you to find peace of mind while discovering the dancer in you.


MUAY THAI BOXING
Muay Thai style kick-boxing beginners’ class. Come and learn the basics of what has been described as 'the most devastating stand-up martial art in the world. Muay Thai is referred to as "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art.


MUAY THAI CONDITIONING
A fast paced circuit class with punching, kicking, knees and elbows designed to increase cardio fitness and overall conditioning through Muay Thai.


MUAY THAI SGT $
Small Group Training offers a higher level of instruction, more personalized attention and builds on a structured program to improve skill and fitness. Class size is limited to 6 people maximum and advance session purchase is required. Combine the best of Group Exercise and Personal Training for a great alternative way to build skills and get fit! Muay Thai SGT -learn the skills that make a great Muay Thai fighter. This class will prepare anyone for sparring and fighting through technique, pad work and fitness.


PILATES
A mat-based functional exercise programme that focuses on strengthening and lengthening the deeper muscles. Focused on building strength without bulk, improving flexibility and agility and helping to prevent injury. It was developed in the 1920s by Joseph H. Pilates and was initially created for rehabilitation but was later adopted by dancers. Open to all levels.


POLAR CYCLE
Polar Cycle uses specialized software and hardware in a group cycling setting to project each participant’s heart rate and intensity level onto a flat-panel screen. These classes are perfect for people who want to benefit from heart-rate training, allowing each participant to use more accurate data to adjust their training intensity and performance throughout the class. Being able to see the data so easily allows participants to benchmark themselves against other participants in the class as well as against the instructor. And the instructor is able to use the data to provide individual coaching and encouragement throughout the class.

POLAR RPM™

This is a higher level intermediate class suitable only for those more experienced in Pole Dancing and having already attended our general intermediate level classes. No beginners are permitted in this class. High-difficulty turns and acrobatic tricks will be taught at this level. Upside-down moves and pole climb moves are a pre-requisite for this class. Wear shorts, pole-dance appropriate heels (e.g., platform heels, dance heels) or boots (leather), or sneakers. Shoes should have good grip on the pole. *Please refrain from using hand creams and oils on the day of your class as it makes the pole slippery and very dangerous.


POLE DANCE – Beginner
Appropriate for those who have taken several basic level classes. This class includes turning/rotation tricks and begins the use of legs.
Wear shorts, bare feet, or socks & sneakers, and boots.

POLE DANCE –Intermediate
High-difficulty turns and acrobatic tricks will be taught at this level. Upside-down moves and pole climb moves are a pre-requisite for this class.
Wear shorts, pole-dance appropriate heels (e.g., platform heels, dance heels) or boots (leather), or sneakers. Shoes should have good grip on the pole.

POWER ABS
An intensive class designed to hit your abdominals hard. A more-challenging and advanced abdominal workout concentrated on strengthening the abdominal muscles so you get the six-pack abs you’ve always wanted. An advanced class.


PRE-NATAL FITNESS
Light exercise class specificaly catering for pregnant women in their second or third trimester. Focusing on maintaining good health during pregnancy

Private Dance
Like to learn at your own pace? Want to improve your dance technique and style one-on-one? Preparing yourself for a special occasion or event? Private Dance is designed for you in mind. Classes can be booked in 45-minute blocks with one of our specialist dance instructors. Highly personalised learning that caters to whatever style or level of dance that you want.


PRIZE FIGHTER SGT $
Small Group Training offers a higher level of instruction, more personalized attention and builds on a structured program to improve skill and fitness. Class size is limited to 6 people maximum and advance session purchase is required. Combine the best of Group Exercise and Personal Training for a great alternative way to build skills and get fit! Prize Fighter SGT is designed to teach you the best technique and develop your fighting skills. Heavy on instruction, pad work and drills that improve power, technique and footwork, this is more than you will ever see in a conditioning class. Learn the real skills it takes to be a prize fighter.


REGGAETON
A mix of jazz funk, salsa and reggae, this is taking LA by storm! Thick beats and heavy bass to make your booty shake and quake like the hottest Latin dancers to Daddy Kanne, Little John and Chi Chi.


RITMO FB
A fast-paced, non-stop, fat-burning Latin rhythms cardio class. Designed to maximise your cardio output through exhilarating Latin American dance styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Tango and Reggaeton. Each class will be unique, led by the imagination and experience of your instructor – and burn calories like mad! All levels of fitness and experience welcome.


RPM™
RPM is an indoor-cycling programme for developing cardiovascular capacity. Participants burn up to 900 calories in one 45-minute session. Known to devotees as “the rock concert on wheels,” RPM incorporates the best of pre-set cycling choreography together with great music. It provides a fast improvement in general cardio endurance and lower-body strength. Open to all levels.


RPM™ max
RPM Max is the ultimate calorie-killing studio cycling workout. It involves an extended ride lasting 60 minutes and is designed for cycling enthusiasts who want a longer and more-challenging RPM class. For participants with fitness levels at intermediate or above.


S.O.B! OUTDOOR BOOT CAMP
For all levels of fitness. Places are limited and booking is essential. Expect a variety of exercises including jogging to/from the club reception to the outdoor location, circuit training, balance and stability training, speed and agility training, group challenges and fitness games. Take a break from your typical indoor exercise routine – get outdoors for a fun, engaging workout! Please note that during inclement weather the class will take place inside the Group Fitness Studio.


SALSA
With the rhythms of Cuban beat and the fast pulse of Puerto Rico, this salsa class will have you burning the floor on your next night out on the town. Lots of fancy footwork and hip shaking that will leave you wanting more.

No partner required as it\’s a basic beginner\’s class where footwork and isolations are taught.


SEXY SALSA!
Do you want to learn how to move like Vanessa Williams in "Dance With Me"? Using Salsa as a background we teach you how to move those hips like a serpent and those shoulders to rhythmic drumbeats. No partners needed as this is only a single dance to move very sexy. Heels and skirts are recommended!


SEXY SALSA! (Intermediate)
This is the next level in our popular Sexy Salsa! classes. Have you mastered the basics and are looking for more? Well this class is for you. No partners needed as this is only a single dance to move very sexy to. Heels and skirts are recommended!


STABILITY BALL
Strengthen and tone your entire body using a stability ball. Also known as a “Swiss ball,” it’s a highly effective tool for developing balance and core strength and is an innovative way of working on body alignment. The studio offers stability balls in various sizes. Using different-size stability balls will allow you more flexibility and variation in your training. Open to all levels.


STEP 2 THE MAX
Advanced. A fun, free-flowing workout with innovative moves that will get you moving to motivating, upbeat music. Step L2 and Step 2 The Max are advanced classes requiring higher levels of co-ordination with challenging moves (and may also include the use of two or more step boards). Stepping is not only low-impact but an excellent cardio workout!


STEP MAD!
STEP MAD! Exclusive to Pure: Step MAD – Maximum Attitude Dance! A continuous fusion of 21st-century Step and dance that is full of energy, great music and lots of rhythm. An exhilarating and challenging workout!


STEP WORKOUT
All Levels. All Step Workouts are for mixed abilities. A fun, free-flowing workout with innovative moves that will get you moving, stepping and turning on, around and over the step board – all to motivating, upbeat music. Step One is a basic step class suitable for beginners. Bench & Sculpt/Step & Conditioning uses some basic steps with conditioning exercises. Step L2 and Step 2 The Max are more advanced classes requiring higher levels of co-ordination with challenging moves (and may also include the use of double step boards). Stepping is not only low-impact but an excellent cardio workout!


STRETCH
A total-body stretch class. Great for relaxing, stretching and lengthening tight muscles. Stretching is important for people of all ages. One of the greatest benefits of stretching is that you’re able to increase your range of motion, which means your limbs and joints can move through a greater range, helping to ward off injury. Other benefits of stretching include reduced muscle tension, enhanced muscular coordination, increased blood circulation and higher energy levels.


STRETCH & TONE
Strengthen connective tissue and stretch muscles you thought you never had. This class is designed to improve the elasticity of your muscles and restore and reaffirm comfortable muscle tone. An elasticized band and other fitness equipment may be used to enhance the toning workout. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility and range of motion. Open to all levels.


Stretch/Abs
A combination of various abdominal strengthening and toning exercises, as well as a total body stretch. This class is similar to Stretch & Tone but places more emphasis on abdominal exercises to help your abs stay slim and trim.


TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING
All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone up both your upper and lower body. Some classes use bands, tubes, weights or bars but equipment is always optional –every exercise can be done with or without. This class is also suitable for men.


TRIPLE CHALLENGE
ALL LEVELS. You want to try Aerobics but you also like to Step but feel like you really need to tone your Abs, Butts & Thighs? Why not do them all in the same class. This class is split into three segments of 15, 20 or the more challenging 25 minutes each. The instructor will kick start your cardio with aerobics then move you effortlessly on to the Step then take you down to tone and tighten those problem areas. Challenge yourself with three classes in one and get the best of all worlds. This class is also suitable for men.


TRX
A circuit workout that uses industrial-strength nylon suspension cables with handles, attachable to any overhead anchoring point. Using your own body weight as resistance, TRX allows you to perform some 400 exercises, ranging from the super-easy to the super-hard. This class targets your entire body and emphasises toning and strength building that help with day-to-day activities. A fun, innovative and effective total workout. Open to all levels.


TRX Blast
Like TRX, this workout incorporates exercises performed using your own bodyweight to provide resistance to a suspension trainer. TRX Blast is a nonstop workout set to music, with a continuous flow of exercises to maintain cardio intensity and develop core strength. Exercises are synchronised to music to help maintain momentum and rhythm.


TRX Circuit
This class again involves exercises performed using your own bodyweight and a suspension trainer. TRX Circuit runs through some challenging interval training, with recovery segments after each round. Exercises are largely not synchronised to music, and each circuit incorporates strength training and cardio, much like Boot Camp training. TRX Super Circuit involves an extra-long circuit class.


TRX Technique
Suitable for Beginners and those new to TRX. This class will take you through the “how to” to work the equipment and review all the basic TRX positions and moves at an easy to follow pace.


V-CYCLE
V-Cycle: A fusion of studio cycling and video from scenic journeys and the tour de France to MTV hits compiled by our instructors and VJs. Inspiring, motivating and utterly exhilarating!


ViPR
All levels. ViPR is an acronym for Vitality, Performance, Reconditioning – the concept being to bridge the gap between movement and strength. A simple composite rubber tube with handles, the ViPR can be flipped, lifted, carried, thrown or rolled – over 9,000 different exercises that can be done with it. Come and experience this ingenious style of training.


YOGA
A flowing sequence of postures that are synchronised with the breath, aiding in the detoxification and purification of the body. Open to all levels.


YOGAFIT
YogaFit is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format. YogaFit overcomes the mystery of yoga by delivering a practical, user-friendly style, which is accessible, understandable, and achievable by individuals at any level of fitness. The YogaFit style reduces the risk of injury and augments recovery for ailments including stress, lower back pain and tension.
