Although Jun Kai has always enjoyed being active and participating in various sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, and rugby, he struggled with being physically unfit early on. Recognising it was affecting his health, he began exercising and getting in shape to equip himself. Since the beginning, he has dropped from 85kg to 70kg through weight training and learning about the science of exercise. His perspective on fitness is that by exercising, one can be physically active throughout life and can sustain the strength to enjoy things.
Jun Kai has experienced a lot of back pain and body aches and can sympathise with those experiencing similar symptoms but cannot identify the root. His goal as a trainer is to guide them to live life fully, free of aches and pains. He wishes to assist others in improving their quality of life through fitness and understanding the joy that physical activity can bring. His approach to client training is first to understand their needs, limitations, and goals. With their plans, he can tailor an effective programme for them.

David came with a shoulder injury, was overweight, and had not exercised in over a year. I was able to work around his injury and strengthen his weaknesses through strength training after learning about his limitations, base strength, and goals. I constantly encouraged and reassured him. Today, he has lost a significant amount of weight, gained strength, and is continuing to progress by increasing his intensity and muscle mass. Most importantly, he has fully recovered from his injury and can now lift without pain.
