Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) Closure FAQs

As we return to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), all PURE Fitness Singapore locations will be closed from 22 July to 18 August, re-opening 19 August. All PURE Yoga locations will remain open with no changes to class capacity and with stringent safety, hygiene and distancing measures firmly in place.
We actively monitor the situation in line with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Sport Singapore guidelines and will continue to update our community based on this.
We are pleased to let you know that all memberships by default have been placed on free suspension from yesterday, 22 July till 18 August 2021. During this period, everyone will have full access to PURECAST live-streamed classes via Zoom.
Please be reminded that once an in-studio class is booked and attended from Monday 26 July onwards, the full monthly dues of your membership will automatically be reinstated on the next Autopay. For prepaid memberships, if an in-studio class is booked and attended from Monday 26 July onwards, your membership will continue as normal and no extra days will be added to the end of your contract. If you do not take any in-studio classes during this period, the below account admin will continue to apply.
1. How will my account be affected?
Active accounts (NOT on Suspension):
- Dues Agreement: we will credit 28 days’ pro-rata of monthly fees to your next Autopay cycle.
- Prepaid Agreement: we will extend your contract period by 28 days.
Accounts on Paid Suspension:
- Dues Agreement: we will credit the pro-rata of paid $53.50 suspension fee for the number of days overlapped of suspension and closure period, to your next Autopay cycle.
- Prepaid agreement: we will extend your contract period by the number of days equivalent to the pro-rata of paid $53.50 suspension fee for the overlapped period.
Accounts on Medical Suspension:
- No adjustments required. Suspension will start and end as per requested.
2. Will suspension during this period count towards the maximum 3 months’ quota for the year?
We are excluding this closure period from the quota of three months maximum per year.
3. When will the next autopay billing take place for dues agreement?
For those on 30th autopay cycle, we will skip 30 July autopay billing. Next billing will be scheduled for 30 August.
For those on 15th autopay cycle, we will skip 15 August autopay billing. Next billing will be on 15 September.
4. How will monthly fees be billed?
For active accounts (not on suspension) during closure period:
- On 30 August autopay:
Pro-rata monthly fees from 19 August to 31 August
+ Monthly fees from 1 September to 30 September
Less: Closure credit from 22 July to 31 July
- On 15 September autopay:
Pro-rata monthly fees from 19 August to 15 September
+ Monthly fees from 16 September to 15 October
Less: Closure credit from 22 July to 15 August
For accounts on suspension during closure period, adjustment will include scenarios explained in Question 1.
5. I have a rental locker. Can I access the club to retrieve some of my belongings? How will the billing be?
Unfortunately, we are unable to allow access during the closure. You will be able to access your locker and your belongings when we reopen the clubs. Billing for monthly rental locker will be as shown in Question 4.
6. What will happen to the expiry date of packages and services?
Please note we will extend validity of all Agreements, including Personal Training, Private Yoga, Nutrition Services, or any other Private services to account for the closure period.
If you have a nood food or PURE Apparel Voucher, please note validity will also be extended to account for the closure period.
Additionally, Pal Pass and corporate trial passes will have extended validity with the closure period in mind.
