Faiz's father served as his major influence, especially in martial arts. At the age of 9, he introduced Faiz to the boxing of various styles by bringing him to several gyms across Singapore. Mastering the foundations, he decided to participate in competitions at 14. In 2016, he competed in the Malaysian Kickboxing Open. While finishing first, the injuries led him to take a step back in his professional kickboxing career.
He turned to fitness, understanding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. His belief applies to incorporating simple movements into daily life.
His approach to training a client is based on empathy, knowing the client's needs and pain points to assist them in overcoming them effectively.
