Stretch & Recovery Specialist
Moh began going to the gym as a coping mechanism for school-related stress. He was addicted to adrenaline since his first experience lifting weights. Don't be fooled by his diminutive stature. He began practising silat, the traditional Malay martial art when he was four years old and was competing at national youth levels before the age of twelve. At 14, he became one of the youngest silat trainers in his country. His take on fitness is that it is a community-driven activity in which anyone can participate.
Fitness has always been a part of Moh's life, with family and friends gradually approaching him for training advice. He realised then that he wanted to help others become healthier, fitter, and more confident in their daily lives. He believes that good training methods, combined with hard work and dedication, provide a solid foundation for his trainees to excel.
Tell us about one client on whom you had the biggest influence?
A client came to me because she struggled with weight management due to her mental health. Moh could relate to her because he had gone through a similar experience. With that, he could tailor a programme to her specific needs, promoting a lifestyle centred around fitness, utilizing training as stress management, and embarking on a lifelong fitness journey with her. She has lost the weight she wanted, and her strength has quadrupled.
